'Lego' - Limited Edition 100% Hand-knit Luxury Chunky Sweater
Barbie pinks contrasted with golden mustard, deep navy-blue, joyful green… this is a treasure of a piece.
Knit with two needles and patient hands, in a mix of simple plain and garter stitch, ’Lego’ utilises the intricacies of a v-shape pattern, colour changing techniques and endless weaving that adds to its hand-crafted, home-made, nature.
Wear with every single thing you own. Try it. It works!
From designer/maker Karen:
“Why ‘Lego’? Doesn’t it remind you of being a kid a being creative with colours and building blocks? That’s how I felt when it was coming together. For The Harlequin jumpers, think of them as a coat and layer under it for colder winter days. I wear mine over a sundress in summer too. Because wool is breathable, I keep it handy year-round - you never know when you’ll need to break out the colour! I’ve never had to wash it, I’m not doing the housework when I’m wearing it! I think of it the same way I would ‘occasion wear’ - treat it well, like a fancy beaded guna - treasure it, and it will last.“ - KAREN
